Owsley came later, it was outlawed in the US October 6, 1966. Love Pageant Rally, Panhandle, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco that day. Word had it (so I'm told) Owsley anticipated the events. No known setlist exists.

I once worked in a lab, had a lab coat and everything.
Interesting that gastric juice is hydrochloric acid, the pH is maintained between 1.5 and 3.5. Very acidic. The gut produces about 1.5 liters of acid a day. There are cells that secrete a base to regulate the acidity.
Hot sauce is very acidic, pH around 3.5. The base of these products is vinegar, lemons, or limes. All lend acid to the sauce.
Acid is not good for your teeth. Rinse well after eating anything acidic. That includes carbonated drinks, wine, vinegar, tomato sauce, juices, etc.

The woman who voices the Snuggles bear is my primary hang-out buddy when I am in grad school. No contact in 30 years 
In all honesty, I missed most of that fun. Being only (?) 60, I was not really at an age to fully experience the psychedelic revolution as it was done in the late 60's. That was a few years before my time.Fortunately, I wouldn't know about either.
However, I did experience LSD and a few other psychedelic drugs (psilocybin, mainly) during the '70s and early 80's, a few times. Never did a whole lot for me, but psilocybin did make me giggle a lot, until it didn't. You had to be careful with that, because dosages were never precise, and the effects seemed to last for days.
Being mostly a child of the 80's, most of my experimentation was of a different sort. These days I'm happy with a good zinfandel.
But some people around these parts have nicknamed me 'LSD-Bass' and I kind of wear it as a fun thing.

Funny how stuff shifts. On one of my other fora, LSD means "limited slip differential".
...not into the dreaded Lysergic anymore, but I did hundreds of trips and never had a bad one. Go figure...
