Funny how stuff shifts. On one of my other fora, LSD means "limited slip differential".

And Lake Shore Drive. Am I concerned our econ grad school class is conducted at 666 LSD? A bit. The Four Star Sardine Bar is on the ground floor and that's very good. Personally never found Lake Shore Drive to be particularly evil, myself. Certainly enjoyed more than one drive up and down LSD and greatly embrace the journey.

The woman who voices the Snuggles bear is my primary hang-out buddy when I am in grad school. No contact in 30 years :crying:

Ok. One of my ex boyfriends went to school with the person who went on to voice Lisa Simpson. I have several brushes with fame and brushes with almost-my-own fame in my past, but that stuff is kind of boring because the fame didn't actually happen, at least not for me.

A guy I knew who had a huge crush on me when I was in my 20's went on to become a major player in the touring band for a HUGE act that had multiple major platinum hits in the 70's and 80's. I brushed off his advances because I had a boyfriend. Talk about your missed opportunities.

...I've had brushes with "fame", and I always backed down... don't need that kind of attention... harsh mistress...

Blues Monday sounds about right to me.

Gates Brown was an amazing musician. I’ve seen him play so many instruments with complete authority. He was in his element when he lit up on stage during a song. Unfortunately, that’s what did him in at 81.

At the end his doctors stopped treating him, he lost his home to Katrina, and died months later. Then Hurricane Ike floated his coffin out of it’s burial site. He was properly reburied in a prominent place in the Hollywood Cemetery in Orange Texas. Something to have the blues about.

Used to see Gatemouth on stage at Antone's here in Austin. He loved to make that guitar "talk"!
