And reminded of my fondness for visiting the La Brea Tar Pits. First heard of them from the weekly tales of a modern stone age family. Wilma mistakes Fred's singing for an animal stuck in the tar pits. Another reason right there why there is no mike on stage for me.
It's off to the ̶h̶o̶r̶s̶e̶ ̶p̶i̶s̶t̶o̶l̶ hospital in a bit for regularly scheduled blood work. It's one of those 12 hour fast deals. I'll break that fast after the labs at the hospital cafeteria. It's really quite a good little cafeteria and they make omelettes to order. Omelette du fromage. And yes I know it's improper grammar but omelette du fromage is part of the joke. It is to laugh.
What I haven't figured out is just how to burn two hours between appointments. It's the hairdresser this afternoon, so there is coffee in the deal. Looks like two coffees. Or coffee and a lunch then hairdresser. Sounds like a plan.

I feel vindication whenever I read, or occasionally even hear, such malapropisms, for which Mrs. Dog chastises my use. I dunno which, if any, Marx brothers movies (or such) from which they hail, but I like to think it's a little inside joke being proffered for those cognizant, and appreciative, of such. Thanks!
