I’m more an amber ale guy myself, but do remember when Coors was a ‘novelty’...same with Yuengling...the local intelligencia ASSumed that because it was ‘imported’ from CO/PA/Germany (Heineken) it Had to be, somehow, Superior...while I thoroughly enjoyed my Genny Cream Ale.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

We have "Alaska" beer brand name. In Sitka we have "Baranof" beer. The Baranof Brewing is not doing so well, went into Chapter 11 protection. Grew too fast. So irritating, not long before they went into protection, they went IPO at $1,000 a share. Carey has been very frugal and invested a lot of money into low yield savings but was tempted by the shares. For some reason my gut said no. I'm sure glad I did, because now I think that shareholder money is either gone or held in some sort of special account for debts. Businessmen! :spit:

However, both companies put out great beer. I was going to personally ask them to put out a special brew for me, similar to the "high test" higher alcohol content that they serve in Canada. I thought that was delicious. Now I don't know if Baranof is brewing at all...

Pretty rare to hear the words "enjoy" and "Genny Cream Ale" all together in that order :laugh: An editor who I call a friend remarks drink any beer for a week and you'll like it.

While I enjoy a well-poured draft, my body isn't 25 years old today.

Onct in a while I'll have a good'un. There's Guinness on tap and freshly shucked oysters on the last Wednesday of the month at my preferred pub. They draw the Guinness reasonably well. What the pub doesn't feature that is a vital part of an evening is a coal (or peat) fire.

Ahh, for me it’s the Summer heat here in GA. I step out the door and I feel like I’m gonna melt into the pavement!

I’ll swap ya Georgia’s (alleged)
“Winter” for the heat and Humidity in the balls of June/July/August here in the Peach State Any year. :thumbsup:

Agreed. Any brew goes straight to my hips! Occasionally I have a vodka martini. Hold the vermouth. And the olive. And the stir stick! :laugh:

First time I hauled on the semi-hollowbody in the gig bag, said does this make my bum look big? (it does, what with a 16 inch lower bout).

At girls' night out recently had three glasses of wine.

For any keeping track of the perfect martini

fill a baby food jar with peeled lemon rind
then fill the jar with dry vermouth

use one lemon rind per martini :thumbsup:
(disclaimer, have not had a martini since university)

Does anybody have any experience with GuitarPro 7.5 for creating music sheets with tab?

I bought some tab of some Christmas songs and the seller included .gp files for this app with the pdf’s. Downloaded the GuitarPro demo version, it looks interesting for generating sheet music when writing and as a learning/practising tool.

Never using sheet music, I’m out of the loop to know if this is a product that musicians use or have ever even heard of. It seems to have good reviews.

I'm 67 and still working full-time. I plan on retiring when I turn 70. I start the day with a short walk early in the morning and I'm on my feet all day. I guess that keeps my metabolism up all day to the point that I'm warm when I get home. My theory is keep moving! works for me...
