Lest I leave any hanging without a followup to "worse than an enema" ... the treatment for fluid in the middle ear meant lancing the eardrum. If one has chronic childhood ear infections, this can become a problem. It's unclear if the procedures saved my hearing :crying:

Enema is a different type of drainage. Sir Lancelot must have had a good business inserting ear drainage tubes....and there’s always boils of course.

Everything in moderation, right?

Unileaver would want you to believe that.

The orange juice industry is another one that’s done a good job at selling an unnecessary product. Oranges are fine but a big glass of drinking juice has several normal sized oranges in it, mostly lots of sugar. Not to mention the high cost. The acid is hard on the teeth. Those juice boxes with straws that are so popular do untold damage to kids teeth. Kids today have decay in their teeth like no other time.

I find a half a bagel for breakfast holds me over until mid-midlate afternoon.

I've just never developed a 'taste' for bagels. Plus any positives would be negated by how much stuff I'd need to put on one.

A proper bagel is a dense sweet bread. Done right is hard to find. Everyone has their favorites. Toasted open face with melted mozzarella and ketchup to dip doesn’t get any better for me. Well, smeared cream cheese is a close second.

I'll take your word for it. Now, two Krispy Kremes, hot off the rack.:):)
