Mmmmm. Krispy Kreme.Sidebar here. About 20 years ago we didn't have a McDonalds. So when people flew to Juneau (a 30 minute flight) they would buy a bunch of McDonalds and bring it home on the way back. Now most Sitkan's don't eat at McDonalds when they're south because that's the only burger joint we have! LOL
The other big thing is people bringing home Krispy Kreme donuts. That would almost make the news! LOL

Them hippies better stay up thar!

Down comforter. Light weight and very wsrmy.
Actually the pic was captioned "seen in Alaska", but it didn't copy.
Coors was terrific-when it was a novelty. Now I drink porters/stouts.(not with Krispy Kreme. Although......, hmmm.)Always welcome more wool. Wool stays warm even when wet. Some folks can't stand wearing - or even touching - wool. I'm not among the wool haters.
Am among the poor circulation people.
Coors and Krispy Kreme are kind of the same thing to me. Though I would eat a Krispy Kreme before I drank a Coors.
BTW, it's possible to buy a K.K. franchise. For me, all winters are particularly cold, just that some are more so than others...............
I will never understand why.....The older I get, the colder winter gets. I am starting to understand why “old” people move to Florida.

Easy now, tiger, easy! That's funny. A while back, I had it in mind to keep my feet warm when winter fishing. I bought Merino wool socks but had to give them away. They were itchy, heavy, hot and made my feet sweat. No "wicking" socks would work for me, only thin, cotton sport socks and I can't do the laces up on shoes. My feet have to breathe!

I wouldn't even try those...
Since Florida will be under water soon, California is a great place to stay warm. And, it's getting warmer by the day. Also, lots of desert available if you want to turn yourself into human jerky. The older I get, the colder winter gets. I am starting to understand why “old” people move to Florida.
It's the beginning of "Tourist Season" here. Hopefully, I can bag my limit.Since Florida will be under water soon, California is a great place to stay warm. And, it's getting warmer by the day. Also, lots of desert available if you want to turn yourself into human jerky.![]()
