It's the coldest day of the fall. Strong winds, -34 deg (C/F about the same). Winter begins in a couple of days and the days start getting longer. Yea!

It's a 'bone-chilling 63F here. Now, before you spit your coffee-or whatever-that's with a 27-30 mph northeast wind, with gusts up to 45ish, and 90% humidity. It soaks right through most Florida wear. A waterproof 'breezebuster'* is all ya really need but most are only water resistant.Nice![]()
We had ours May-October.Send some of that coolness down this way, Captain. That'd be twice as niceWe're having a heatwave.

Staying Alive could be a theme song for this little passage. It's certainly a challenge. We had ours May-October.![]()
Around here, they recommend that people w/o ac go to malls. etc during the hottest part of the days.Staying Alive could be a theme song for this little passage. It's certainly a challenge.

Groan.(I love it). They tell us in these days of extreme weather to check in on our elderly neighbors. That old bat next door who is too lazy to pick up the week's worth of mail on her porch hasn't asked after my well-being yet.

As close as I wanna be to that stuff.
Friday On My Mind

I love hockey-from up in the stands. It really is horrid stuff. I remember kids wanting the snow to come so they could downhill ski or play hockey. I was more into playing hooky.
Get some instructions regarding how to voluntarily piloerect. Sounds amazing. That's gotta be a mild superpower, BoT. I enjoy the phenomenon, but I have to stand , mid winter, knee-deep, at least, in the ocean with a surfboard tucked under my arm.As close as I wanna be to that stuff.
Well, that's certainly different! Wonder what the instrumentation was?
Not sure but it is interesting given the time.
The version was released in 1976. It was pre digital synths explosion of the 80’s with instruments such as the Yamaha DX7 or the Fairlight. Slightly too early for the Oberheim.
In the mid 70’s, I recall the Moog, ARP, and EMS. Pedals were also used. Rich analog sounds.
