Get off my LAWN! "Grumpy Old Farts"

Esprit Turbo's sounded like wet farts....

Horrible little motors......(shudder)......

His wife enjoyed the BMW 850 more, I"m given to understand. It's not easy for a lady to gracefully exit a Lotus. The Lotus / BMW owner came from Dunstable.

We were out at dawn this morning taking some seeds to the birds in the forest. I was pouring some sunflower seeds behind a tree when I heard my wife let out a startled scream.

She was bent over putting some fat soaked bacon out to distract the squirrels from the bird food when a medium sized poodle came out of nowhere from behind and ran between her legs. The moral is, never get between a dog and freshly fried bacon.

I've never lived in Europe as a civilian. But Uncle Sam paid my way. I don't know any high level anyone. I've never owned a car more than $25,000 and I had to talk Carey into that. I guess all I can say is I served my country and now take care of 150 people and they all like me. I feel like I could have risen to higher heights and I have nothing to brag about except I've lived a happy life.

That's about 140 more than me.

I feel like I could have risen to higher heights...
No regrets, seriously, no regrets. You play bass. Best dam time on stage and made great memories!

and I have nothing to brag about except I've lived a happy life.
uh...want to check with your significant other on that? I seem to remember a bit of bragging on her...

Thank you @Stumbo . I'm at the age where I'm reflecting on my life and I appreciate you reminding me of my blessings. Thank you.

Well, maybe. Doubtful. Too saccharine for my taste. You are the high level people. Jeeze.

Trains aren't afraid of cars. Oh and so easy now to "build" a pretty sharp car to the tune of high five figures. My choice for a livable world is one where I can be with my friends, in person, any time, without having to haul my physical self all over the planet. Sort of like a Star Trek transporter but better. It has safety features to prevent any from being Rick Roll-beamed into someone else's Holodeck. Just sayin'.

Spent yesterday at Scarborough General hospital while my Dorothy underwent the procedure on her left leg to open the artery. They got it open all the way to her ankle. That's a big positive!! :)
I'm glad to hear that that's the GOOD news.....

I dread to think what the BAD news might have been........

Heartfelt best wishes to your wife for a swift recovery.....
