.....My ch
oice for a livable world is one where I can be with my friends, in person, any time, without having to haul my physical self all over the planet. Sort of like a Star Trek transporter but better. It has safety features to prevent any from being Rick Roll-beamed into someone else's Holodeck. Just sayin'.

Careful what you wish for! :roflmao:

Good night and good luck.

Martin Carthy taught Paul Simon Scarborough Fair, a traditional English folk song, in 1965 in London. The S&G recording copyright was credited to Simon and Garfunkel. There was years of public feuding between Carthy and Simon which ended in 2000.

...Not the only time Paul Simon has been accused of theft...

Consider his relationship  with Los Lobos.

I find it hard to listen to a Paul Simon record...though I absolutely Love his music.

He does have a bad rep.

I like Los Lobos, they can play anything. What he did to them in stealing their song was despicable. Even worse, Graceland was his biggest selling album.

Out of the loop on all the Paul Simon stuff. Saw Pink Floyd on their Mission Bell tour

And here with Friday on my mind in part because an authorization for a daily medication must go through today, because I'm out. Chemist can't refill without the insurance company's nod. My doctor's office sent the e-paperwork at 3-something am on January 1 (minutes after the new insurance guidelines went into effect). Ten days later, still no refill. It needs to be a today thing, and as of Thursday afternoon confirmed my doctor's office is on the ball.

Looks like I'll be out for coffee and will see then.

^^^ 'cause it is. Marooned here in The Colonies for a bit. o_O

Hey, all you colonoscopy "enthusiasts" ... did you know Miralax is prescription-only in Ireland? What that means in reality is the patient doesn't pay out-of-pocket for a memorable night with lemon drink.
