A beautiful song played by a beautiful talented lady

But please give Pino Palladino the props...He is one of the reasons I wanted to become a bass player

What A Band!!!!

Believe that's a first listen for me.

When I put first put flats on by PBass, my amp shouted, YES! this is it.

When I got my Precision in January 1968 it waited sans strings for a couple of weeks. I had switched to Rotosound strings for my Gibson EB2 and I wanted them for the Precision. Only short scale were available in Liverpool at the time so I ventured forth on the train for Manchester where I was able to buy a set. I used them exclusively for years after. When I arrived in Toronto I still used them but began to noteice significant fret wear. After having the frets dressed a few times I switched to GHS Brite Flats which were rounds ground flat. There's a set on it still

Just shy of 50 years to the day after I fell for the Burns with the tapes on it, I decided to try a custom set of La Bella black nylon tapes on my Dingwall.

I won't put Black Nylon strings on any bass I own. In the past whenever I did the bass got stolen! That's three times - I too was a slow learner! :(
