Personally measured boots aren't uncommon in horse circles. One might reasonably argue that horse circles are something rich people indulge in. In my experience, Yes / No / Mu is the correct answer. Up there on the international level, it's not unheard of for excellent riders of modest means to ride horses so expensive they're owned by multiple people.
I had a grump this morning. A serious one, and now it's escaped me
Oh but for sure I can grump about this and I'm still borderline angry ... Informed Thursday the paperwork I've been waiting on for two months was stalled. The reason is the necessary document was completed in late November, but was (apparently) never faxed 
That's been remedied. The woman I spoke with Thursday said she was faxing it immediately.

For some things, medical insurance companies still want snail mail originals, xrays, signatures. Other things they can email to the insurance.
Yes, they are well behind the times. They don't want to lower any costs.

It's amazing how low the prices are in Russia. For everything day to day, tools, condos, food, etc. Same quality as where else in the world.
I used to buy Russian tubes. They eventually arrive.
Now if you buy an effect such as a Russian Pickle, they might confuse it with produce which can lead to problems.

Cowboy boots can get well up there, especially with exotic leathers and stitching. But the dressage crowd are always trying to out-snoot the competition. Parents bragging about their gifted* children can be intolerable.
*By gifted I mean all that they are given.

Playing a fretless is a revelation at times. I love mine with a passion. I ordered mine with fret lines too. A six string bass with a blank Ebony finger board scared the crap out of me. The fret lines meant I could play the thing with confidence right from the beginning.
