How can we be in two places at once?

I actually stayed there after a TB GTG a few years ago. It's a very upscale joint these days too. The pics on the lobby wall are priceless: JFK, The Beatles, you name it.

@alaskaleftybass : forgot the most important NAMM detail. My hotel did in fact have two of those scary waffle machines that you and The Contessa love so well (heh, half truths). But I couldn't bring myself to indulge, and after two mornings of braving steam table powdered eggs and textured vegetable protein sausage food product (???) I opted for a killer breakfast burrito at the Spanish food cart outside the show. Their homemade chorizo was amazing and they put a bit of char on the shell that I really dug. And I got to sit next to the Rick James tribute band singer/bassist from Las Vegas, who plays with RJ's actual band. Good times.

But wait, there's more. On Sunday I took a hike to Roscoe's Waffle House with my good buddy @Wintermute, and all was right with the world:

Onward, into the fog...
Ahhhhh. Life is good.

Budapest is known as a luxury destination. Rich people travel there to order high end shoes for example.

They make an impression of each foot. Then carve a wood last to replicate the foot. They say that the shoes fit and feel like nothing else. Similar shops are in other European fashion cities such as Paris and London but apparently Budapest has the edge.

This comes under "things that rich people do" that regular folk wouldn't even dream happens.
