So I cannot find a manufacturer name on that bridge and I have found a number of EB3's with like bridges on line. That doesn't mean truly much. I have read that these were heavily modified when new. Do you think it maybe a Ric bridge? It is not a problem as I am a huge Rickenbacker fan and this maybe as close to one as I may get. I don't think I have another 50 years in me. The main reason asked is it is currently under restoration and I may want to stop the bridge change. Thank you for any information you might have.

I think that this one requires some investigation to figure out what's going on. I've seen several different bridges on that model bass and wonder why. Sometimes it's monkey see monkey do, especially if someone famous performs a mod. Back in that era, there wasn't the choice of replacement parts that there was in subsequent years.
