My body has been a Wonderland...of disfunction...over the last 10 or 12 daze.
The nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy) focused on the balls of my feet and numbing my toes completely, goes back to 2003. It's painful...a Good day is a 3 or 4 out of 10; this past week has been a 7 or 8...but I rarely limp as a result of it.
The last 6 months or so has seen the rise of Plantar Facetious, focused mainly on my left heel. I've been wearing a 'boot' during waking hours for the last week. That seems to stabilize it, and offers the extra padding one would expect.
I'm trying to stay off it, but there's just so much reading and movie watching a guy can do, and still consider it 'having a day'!
Yesterday was a long day that started early...about 6a...and ended at about 2p, when I FELL into bed...and slept for 20 hours, uninterrupted!!
I'm sure I've never done Anything like this before!!
I am Dazed and Confused...working on a cuppa at 11a!!!
...hard to 'have a day' when it starts That late!
I vaguely remember Something about a groundhog...and I slept right through the Supah Bowl...trying to avoid any mention of The Big Game...maybe I'll look for it after making dinner...or will it be lunch?!
I am thoroughly discombobulated.
...gonna try and have a day...
