My second band has picked up two gigs in the last two weeks due to guys in other bands having the flu. I think everyone in my band has already had it including me two weeks ago. I didn't go to work that Friday and stayed in bed most of the day. Aspirin and Sudafed got me through the gig that night (last set was a bear though) and when I got home , I pretty much didn't get out of bed till Monday to go back to work. Last week we picked up another bands gig (real good paying one too) and this Friday we picked up another gig. So far this year , the flu didn't kill me and has put a bunch of cash in my pocket.

My cat is getting to be a Grumpy Old Feline. And lazy. I'm pretty sure the only things she eats anymore are the mackerel and dry food that I feed her. And the occasional bit of grass. She used to catch voles, which was pretty cool. Never saw another cat do that.
