Everyone knows that word and it's definitely not used in The Colonies.
Early in our marriage my late wife and I got into a disagreement and I used that word. She grabbed a chair (she was 5 feet tall dripping wet) crawled up on it slapped me hard and said "Don't you ever use that in front on me again! Understand?!" All I could say was "But you are from Ireland!" That went over like passing gas in church.

I am probably one of the very few Colonists that was called that name in a pub in Cork and walked out without bodily injury. All for winning a darts game. Which is not advisable for a Colonist to do.

Your ancestors would have sent them back if the colonists called them that word :woot:
Look guys and girls...let's not beat around the bush here....who's pretending to know what this feckin' word is???...
I ask because I've been surrounded by Irish, both friend and foe since my early teens and I haven't got a clue what you're all on about......:woot:
