I don't even know the secret words and I'm already skeered of getting whacked!Always fun to have words that only some people can use, sometimes, depending on time and place. The rules are secret and the penalty for breaking them is harsh bang exclamation point
Early in our marriage my late wife and I got into a disagreement and I used that word. She grabbed a chair (she was 5 feet tall dripping wet) crawled up on it slapped me hard and said "Don't you ever use that in front on me again! Understand?!" All I could say was "But you are from Ireland!" That went over like passing gas in church.

Most... Quizzical... Look... My... Wife. My new cheapo Sterling by Music Man bass. It sure seems nicely built for the cost. Haven't had a chance to play it yet...

Thank you @LBS-bass ! I wish I could afford the real thing but you know what, this bass is soooo nicely made! I will post my thoughts after changing strings and trying it out. That looks really nice. I hope you enjoy it!
I just posted a "fire the drummer?" thread, so apparently trouble is contagious this week.Isn't there a GoFundMe for a gig a current thread too?

Went to a hockey game in FTL Thursday night, Friday was spent at the State Fair in Tampa, Back home Saturday with an American Legion gig in Ft. Pierce Sat. night. Sunday, ?. Maybe Jam session, maybe sitting in front of the flat screen. Thanks for reminding me @Morrighan
Attention all GOF's! Report in that all/or some/or maybe how many toes fingers and appendages are accounted for, and weekend plans please. Carey and I are doing our continuous small home cleanup. We buy too much in the winter and it always feels like something is falling out of some cupboard somewhere. But it feels great to get it done. Weather is around 30 degrees F here.
Tomorrow we are going to see 1917. My grandfather was in The Great War. Dad was in WWII. I missed Vietnam by a hair. Half of my AIT company went to Vietnam and the other half (including me) went to West Germany. Anyway, we went to historic war sites while I was in the Army compliments of American Express weekend tours that were inexpensive designed to keep young soldiers out of trouble LOL.
Sunday is always our day of rest. Hopefully we'll get a hunk of dead beast and slow-cook a roast, watch an English show we love called 'Call the Midwife.' We are excited about Season 4 of The Crown.
