L.A. Arboretum. That's where the house lives, at the edge of the lake (in the old TV series). Been there many times.Herve Villechaize often enjoyed lunch at a Chinese restaurant by a supermarket about six blocks from the studio where Fantasy Island was shot. The lush island vegetation is potted, carried on the set, and sprayed with misters throughout the shoot. So yeh I was on the Fantasy Island set
Why no Mrs. for spraying the plants, beyond the obvious anatomical reasons?

What I found is the Leica is the only 35mm camera quiet enough for use on a live set.

How about plebs were paid to mist the plants?
Pinhole cameras are quiet but I suppose that they don’t count. Not too many films use film any more.

Too much effort and cost to shoot film again, and my inclination to learn Photoshop and its ilk hovers near zero and has not moved in 30 years. The Doomsday Clock moves more frequently, and in larger increments. My days behind the lens are more than a half a lifetime ago. Now I'm cell phone point and drool with the rest o' them.

He should have gotten an Oscar for Wrath Of Khan. IMHO the greatest of all the Trek movies.
Possibly my favorite FS line.
We've had film/TV photographers in the lab who shot with Fuji/Hasselblad X-Pan, and Widelux cameras for film shoots.
There were a couple of guys who used an 8x10 pinhole camera; we'd proces their film.

Fuzzy way to start a Friday.
The zing of working a Leitz lens is unforgettable. Never had the opportunity to mess with the big boys. In any event the darkroom lenses were Nikon. Most of the photograph is created in the darkroom, not the camera, IME. But the camera's got to be in the right place, now how did that get there? Takes us to very interesting places indeed.
A wall of sound. I spy a few instruments that I wouldn't mind having. I'd like to see the bass wall.
Loud and distorted adds a sense of urgency to a rough performance. Or maybe they are high like Leary. At the end of the video, I think that the camera's audio mic may have been distorting.

Just wanted to offer a suggestion to look up the Tyler
Twist and Reverse Tyler Twist... sounds like a dance but they’re forearm stretches/exercises that relieve tennis elbow and golfers elbow. Hope you feel better soon!
