L.A. Arboretum. That's where the house lives, at the edge of the lake (in the old TV series). Been there many times.Herve Villechaize often enjoyed lunch at a Chinese restaurant by a supermarket about six blocks from the studio where Fantasy Island was shot. The lush island vegetation is potted, carried on the set, and sprayed with misters throughout the shoot. So yeh I was on the Fantasy Island set![]()

Possibly my favorite FS line. We've had film/TV photographers in the lab who shot with Fuji/Hasselblad X-Pan, and Widelux cameras for film shoots. What I found is the Leica is the only 35mm camera quiet enough for use on a live set.
There were a couple of guys who used an 8x10 pinhole camera; we'd proces their film.Pinhole cameras are quiet but I suppose that they don’t count. Not too many films use film any more.

Ah not really, but I'm irritable as Hell.
Lost another TB "friend" today, but alas it happens when you're grumpy.
On a side-note, when did figuratively everyone start adding "literally" whenever possible?
First time I remember it being a sticking point was on a sitcom in 2004:
