Brings to mind the question: As most of the Old Testament stories refer to "sons", with whom-or what-were they procreating?

So Adam and Eve were the first couple according to my parish rabbi and had 2 sons Cain and Abel. Cain killed Abel whereupon he went to the land of Nod and took a wife. Now where did she come from?
That's all the spiritual guidance you get from me.
Glad to be back once again. Yup hospital, infection, and Hold 'Em in pediatrics.

Listen to this: Genesis 4-16. “And Cain went out from the
presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the
East of Eden. And Cain knew his wifeY ’ Where the hell did
she come from?

BRADY

Who?

DRUMMOND

Mrs. Cain. Cain’s wife. If, “In the beginning” there were
only Adam and Eve, and Cain and Abel, where’d this extra
woman spring from? Ever figure that out?

INHERIT THE WIND

Sorry @mikeoso I should kept catching up.

Finally after spending time in the British Isles I learned 2 things.
First in the yards of many London residences there are signs that still say "Americans, Overpaid, Oversexed, and Over Here!"
Second there are Peat Bogs. Now peat is a combination of rotting vegetable matter and cattle excrement. BUT,,, it is also the primary roasting material for the barley in Single Malt Scotch! Yay Peat! Yay Peat!
With that said it is time for medication (washed down with a generous portion of Glenlivet) and nap time!
Yay Peat!
Great to hear from you all!

The kids are alright. Taking American music and kicking it up a notch. These bands are writing good material and have a good following. Things are really happening in the UK and Germany.

A UK R&B band.

My copy of Annie in Wonderland did get playtime on my turntable.

Any remember a band called Planxty?

Never heard of (or, had :woot:) Planxty? Saounds good, (hope the virus isn't to contagious :woot:).

I do have my LP of AIW; got it when it came out. I'll have to see if I have a CD of it (maybe).

Me too. I loved Annie Haslam, but then I sang in a prog-fusion band and the only female singer anyone knew to compare anyone else to in that genre was Annie Haslam. Did I sound like Annie Haslam? Some critics said yes, others said no. She was the only yardstick anyone had in their toolbox. It was all Annie, all the time. It got comical after awhile.

PS: I sound nothing like Annie Haslam. She has a fine, trained voice. I am a hack.
There was, also, Sonja Kristina. Not as well know, but Curved Air was a great band, to me, anyway.
