We're still deciding on what roof to put on it. One of these, perhaps?

Very nice looking cupola, but we're actually planning/hoping to replace like with (mostly) like, as in, a flat or extremely low pitch hip roof.

A shade of white highlights bugs, good contrast and all. If you don’t want spiders, don’t use organic cleaners. Orange and coconut oils, waxes, and other “green” ingredients tend to attract spiders.
Cleaners? Vas ees dat? :smug:

We don't have a spider problem, except for some guy named Peter who likes to hang around outside.

The sax a couple posts up reminds me how horns make a song

I was in a 7 piece "Chicago" type group in the early 70s. We did an audition(remember those?) at The Castaways in Miami Beach. The owner came up to us after we played 4-5 numbers and said " I love you guys. Can ya cut it down to 5 men?":wacky::banghead: No.

You should have taken the job and showed up with five men and two women.
We'd busted our @$$#$ working up the material so we went in with 7 for 5 money.
The band didn't last very long. Trouble getting hired for any kind of $, and some of the guys(including me)got other gigs. Our drummer copped a gig with Miami Sound Machine. The sax man got a scholarship to Juilliard, the trombonist got into "growing". The guitarist moved back up north. The singer got a jazz gig, back when there were jazz gigs. Fun while it lasted.

Figure with anyone who lives in a world as far away as Norman Bates, the best thing to do is avoid all contact. :eyebrow:

Of course that "house" is not even close to full size, and is (or was, last I was on the lot) part of the Universal Studios tour in Studio City. Universal Studios does have a fine amphitheater, and saw America there. That was one of those life situations that's difficult to resolve. Free tickets to a concert, except it's America. :meh:

An Ashdown, two pedals, and a Greenboy?

Saw an Earth Wind and Fire tribute band a couple years back that had horns. Bass player was wireless and was all over the stage.

Spider is good by me.

Sorry, being a bit obscure so here's the bird's eye lowdown on this caper (whatever that means)

By chance as we considered the question of spiders, I wrote to Ragno. That's Italian for spider, and he's a jeweler. For minutes earlier a friend texted me to say I'm in Italy in a month, anything I can do for you?

And in the full knowledge of exactly where she will be, and in the understanding she's doing business with the same jeweler, I replied well, actually...

Because five years ago (seems hard to believe it's that long) I had a ring created for me at this jeweler. We worked out I ask Ragno for ideas for an upgrade to the original design. My friend can take the ring with her, I make the electronic payment, done. Gave Ragno all the infos he may need for some ideas.

Which leaves me feeling like I'm a bit naked without my ring and with my passport back in the bureaucracy.
