Mine needs a 34 inch winding length. A couple companies make 35.5 inch winding lengths, and that puts the bare string right on the post. It's probably okay, but ... Same reason the Warwick tapes are sitting on a shelf. Their short scale is 35.5. Soon as I saw that, back in the package they went. And they certainly look like interesting strings. Just not for me right now

The only good use for raisins I know of is in a fruit stuffing for a goose. I may think more frequently about goose for dinner when I live by their ponds. Not to discount the possibility they're also telling me what they think of my neighborhood.

In my case, the Canadian Geese that fly over our home have some sort of Norden Bombsight that enables them to have a 100% hit rate on my car.

It's a squirrel what taunts Odin. I see Odin unable to do a thing from the confines of his yard. And, really, kind of happy in a way dogs can't fly. I have no wish to put dogs in the geese compartment of my emotional vault.

I notice that for the LaBella nylon tapes are 32.25", you need a 31" (?) scale. If you could find a shorter replacement tailpiece, the longer scale string might fit. The ball ends would be moved back. It doesn't appear that Chowny sells one but it never hurts to ask.

I may have mentioned it b4, but my Ibby is a 30.5"scale but the 'claw' is a coupla inches behind the bridge so I hafta to use medium scale on it. Some people have suggested putting an extra ball from old strings in front of the ball on new strings for spacing. BTW, so far I'm liking the DTF's.
