He called/emailed EHX; waiting for a reply. He uses it on some other tunes too: Green Onions, Time is Tight, Blues stuff, ballad solos, whatever.

I see kids out with their friends. Girls are often drawn to friends that look like them, same height, build, even hair color. (Although they may be sharing the same bottle of hair dye.)

Yesterday I worked on the garage door remote that hasn't worked for a while. The weather was warm enough so I had at it. Turned out that the negative terminal hat detached from the battery. I levered it out of the clip and put in a new battery. YEA! it works.
I then tackled the dead amp in the living room subwoofer. I had a new amp in the workroom so I set to to make it fit. As it was smaller than the failed unit I pulled the face plate off the old amp, measured and cut a hole to suit the new one. I measured once and cut four times. The hole in the steel plate was slightly too small. I started to file the hole to make it larger but it was heavy work. Then I remembered that in my stash of tools in the garage is a rotate grinder. That made short work of the resizing. Reassembled every thing and now have a working subwoofer. YEA! again!!
Metal work such as cutting openings can get nasty fast without the right tools. Good that you got it done and the unit is working.

No I haven't. Never though of it really. My rehearsal set up in the basement 'Studio' has it's subwoofer right next to my B15. Guess which one I'd rather plug into.

NSD. La Bella med. gauge, medium scale DTF's for my Ibby. The tapes(D'Ad.)were going 
-time to change. Never used LaB's b4. Sound-and feel-good testing. The extra .004/string is no problem for the nut. No modding needed.

I like the idea of an old well established manufacturer. The family started making gut strings in Salle, Italy in the 1640’s, they supplied Stradivari. They also made “House of Mari” church bells at their metal foundry in the 17th and 18th centuries. Two brothers moved to New York in 1913 and made strings in their apartment, they opened their factory in 1914. It’s still a family business.

From all I'm able to gather here, the Deep Talking Flats and Low Tension Flats sound very close once broken in. I'm using the LTFs. Apparently the pulling weight on them is even lower than the tapes I replaced. They sure don't feel floppy to me. I prefer the feel of the tapes, and am beginning to prefer the sound of the flats on the semi-hollowbody. I need low tension tape flats
