I don't entirely trust them, but some time-when the kit's on sale- I'd like to see what they have to say. I know some of it. Mostly UK, some German, and not enuff Cherokee to get a check from the casino.

"Frumpy" should cover most bases. Comes from an age when blue wool stockings were worn as a "practical" substitute for fine black silk stockings.
After reading my shocking report I called an older cousin in Metlakatla 80 years old now the matriarch of the family. He said, "Will, your family's been here 10,000 years. Don't believe everything you read..." still.....

I recall one particular lady truck driver that I encountered at a truck stop back then. She looked like she could take most of the bigger men in a fight. She came in the door swearing and spitting snake venom, wearing a jean jacket and no shirt, wanting to fight any challengers. Not sure if she was a nut case or if some truck drivers acted like that.

I've known female truck drivers of many shapes, sizes, and demeanors. One, in particular, could make a sailor blush and you'd never think it to see her. Dunno if it was a defense mechanism or what.

Those sets of words and phrases that work so well in some situations were a revelation to me as a child. The unpredictability of the repercussions for saying them out loud in front of adults ensured I learned timing. There are, of course some situations when only the choicest phrases will do.
I just had a "Head Gonk" last week. Been in Lost Wages helping my daughters Mother in Law move and daughter mentioned "My dad messes with Basses". And Iveas asked if I would like to see the Mother in Law's late husbands bass and being polite I said yes. Out she comes with a 1979 Mahogany body, Mahogany neck and ebony fretboard Precision. My jaw hit the table. I have only heard of these things as they were only made in 1977, 78, 79, and early 80. Basically a e experiment that didn't fly due to cost. She asked if I would like to plug it in and pulled a '79 Bassman out of the closet. I just stood there with a stupid look on my face and said. Um um um Thank you. Then proceeded to wait the 30 minutes for all the tubes to warm up. What a sound! Dam thing weighed darn near 15lbs. It was a honor to play this instrument. So I now have a mission from the Gods to find a Mahogany neck, Ebony Fretboard, SS medium Jumbo Frets, that doesn't cost the price of a new Ultra. I am not a proponent of tone woods but this thing could change my mind. As my my brother said "Doesn't Exist". But it sure will be fun looking.

The Airbus A350 is a fairly new aircraft.
The avionics bay is where all the computers and other electronics are located. All large planes have this but not many like what’s shown here.
The cockpit even looks different with all the computer screens. They don’t even try to make them look like instrument panels of the past. A far way from the steampunk of when we were young.

You should tell her that the capacitors need use to keep them working properly. Turn the amp on, in playing mode with the standby off, for an hour or so, at least once a year.
