Maybe the key is to let him think that he is taking you for a walk.
The only time I saw him perform, he played it; that was with SMV, in the early summer of 2112, er, 2012.
When out on jobs, they, very much, do use electrically motivated tools. Some even have cellphones (they put them down on a shelves/counters when they enter their homes) and recharge them on the job site.
The Amish custom cabinetmaker who made our kitchen cabinets has an amazing workshop full of woodworking power tools, all, either hydraulically, or pneumatically, driven by four diesel engines to run the compressors. No electric power to be seen anywhere, so it's a daylight only operation.
The windows operate much better, too, than the originals! The old ones had several issues with them, so it is, literally, a breath of fresh air to have the NIVRAM windows that can be opened.

I’d be camping out there now with the windows open. Nothing like the smell of fresh cut wood in the morning.
Maybe close, you got the camp stove smell in the morning to taste.

I threw up after drinking my first cup of camp coffee when I was 11. Stayed strictly with tea for another decade. Teatime observed with two English friends in Milan means espresso and gelato. This is a fine pastime that earns my full seal of approval.
Not sure if I still have my camping gear! But, I have already talked with the SO about putting a small dining table and two chairs in there!
Maybe, over the weekend, I'll go out there with a guitar for a spell.
Great, now I have to find a folding teak.
When we did the kitchen reno in '13 I wanted to put a teak drip rail under the sink but there were too many logistical issues so I abandoned that idea.
I also thought about doing one with soapstone, like the counters, but same issues. Similar to these.
I'm going to get a couple of these for the closet.

NIVRAM? Forgive my density, but are we avoiding mentioning a brand name that was also a famous Martian? If so, we put them in our house when we bought it...and I mean I did the install on all 38 of them. Got it down to 15 minutes per unit by the end.
They, very clearly, say NIVRAM on them.
Probably, the outside. I was also considering putting this across the top, in the header jam above the door.

Does the kitchen ever look nice! It brings back memories, my grandparents had a similar sink, it was double basin white marble that dated back to the 1800’s.
I used to carve soapstone, inspired by native artists. The fine dust is talc. It was a lot softer than marble.
The porch would be a nice recording space. And here I was wondering if the closet was an instrument locker.
I never understood why they needed a room for a sonic shower. Couldn’t they just beam the dirt off?
