That may be as I would be visiting my sons and their families. My concern is that those at the border may decide that it is a "discretionary visit", meaning not an emergency.
If they did let me in, quarantining for 14 days would put a hardship on my family as they would have to put us up, not to mention the possibility of catching the virus on the way up and spreading it to them. So, full disclosure from me is that it is not worth it and the Canadians (and I am one) are quite within their rights to protect themselves from what is going on in the US.
Maybe Canada should put up a wall?

The standard joke for Delta regulars goes — when your plane crashes it doesn't matter if you're going to heaven or hell because you'll change over in Atlanta.
And I will vouch for the <ahem> experience of Atlanta Hartsfield as ... just going to say I've done it and no desire to see that airport again. But none should ever have to experience La Guardia. There are limits to be respected.

I always put my passport in my jammies when in Luxembourg in case I fall out of bed.
It’s big isn’t it. Atlanta-Hartsfield has been the worlds busiest airport since 2000.
While stopped over, atlanta craigslist has some fantastic music gear. A lot of vintage stuff.

The largest airport I have personal experience with is Frankfurt. The airport that feels most like home to me is O'Hare. From a work standpoint, it makes the most sense as I can be anywhere in CONUS in hours. This stock photo of the Admiral's Club at O'Hare is my Monday morning fifty weeks a year. It is a blessing to hold this corner of sanity as I take complimentary coffee and light breakfast snacks.

LOL LOL Midway is a pit. Everyone knows that.
Making flying fun is reciting the preflight word-for-word with the FA. Now they just turn on a television screen and pray you're not too distracted by your cellphone to know where the nearest emergency exit is.
Despite being 50 years old, some DC10’s are still in service. Many are used for cargo, even tankers. The current selling price is around 120M. Boeing recently announced that they will cease production of the 747 in two years once orders are fulfilled. Travellers like new aircraft, they are also more efficient to operate.

The Lockheed L1011 is totally the coolest plane I've ever been privileged to board. Never had a chance to fly a supersonic. Shoot, I'm not even sure I've seen a supersonic IRL. Most of my airtime is on the MD-80, a venerable medium hauler out of O'Hare. Up at 3, out the door at 4, checked in by 5 and on board by 6.
That did not happen at SFO then, even worse now, not that I have flown much since 9/11...just commuter flights, cramped into a turbo prop tin can.

They've worked hard to make an otherwise enjoyable experience as great an annoyance as possible. The maximal enjoyment of the experience depends on both where you're flying to and why. What I know is I still hold the magic of communicating well with gate agents and still get priority boarding on request (not the wheelchair sort!). My guess is at some level they recognize one of their own kind, even if I never worked for an airline.
