I had one of those Hofner basses. It would have been around 1963/4. OK I was impressed by the Beatles. What was good enough for that Paul was good enough for this Paul. :) It was my second bass. It got stolen in Widnes Lancashire.

I have another one that came from somewhere. it's barely playable. The kids used to use it as a cricket bat! LOL

That is strange. I in 1966, I had one in Vancouver, BC...could have been your second one!

I'm extra grumpy today 'cos I fell over again!! :(

I was adjusting the garden lighting to shine on a naughty stone puppy who is sitting in a flower bed in the back yard. We wanted him to be lit at night. I leaned on a pile patio stones to reach his light. The stones moved and over I went. A tree branch suddenly jumped up and hit me on my forehead, another stone hit my left leg and I banged my right knee on yet another stone. I was not happy! All I could do was say 'Sh1t'! :(

Bah Humbug!!

Yikes! That sux. As I've aged I've found that there are things I can't do any more. I don't do them.

A sure sign of being old. You should stay in and watch Schitt’s Creek.

I have a mask theory.

When you wear a mask, it gets wet, glasses fog up. Your mouth, tongue, cough and mucus are full of bacteria. Rather than exhaling it, the mask is supporting recycling bacteria and viruses back into you, concentrating them and raising their levels.

At some point, this is going to come back and bite the most vulnerable.

ProTip: Before putting the mask on, put a Listerine Strip in your mouth. Much less objectionable that way.

When I buy gas, I wear a disposable glove and pay at the pump. They don’t want you inside.
I have been paying at the pump for decades, now. I don't want to go inside. Looks like they and I are even-steven! :hyper:
Very funny...Less Driving=Less Gas. Guess some things must be spelled out ;).
I must be doing something wrong, then, as I have been occasionally needing to fill up the tank in my car.

Did the same guy who stole Macca's steal yours, too?

Sorry to hear that, Paul, But, as I have always said (if I can actually remember that I've always said it), if you're going to do something, you may as well do a bang-up job of it.

I am with you 100%. Amazon and curb-side pick up are my personal shoppers. Haven't seen the inside of a supermarket or any other store since March. Haven't visited a gas station either.
again "since March."

"since March.
" seems to have been missed...I give up.

Great. Now I have to look for a "tongue holder", yah know, for those who have to hold theirs ...

That opens up a range of possibilities to hold your tongue.

These medical devices can be painful.
