That could depend a lot on what you said, to whom you said it and where you said it. Over here, I am very cautious. They don't necessarily wear signs, but they could be wearing other things ;).

When I'm fully engaged in my work ... when I'm fully engaged in my work none dare. ;)

Laughing our ourselves is not a national aspiration of some countries.

When your mother country's language has sixteen (?) different words or phrases for rain, and where it usually rains 364 days a year, and your main contribution to world cuisine involved cutting potatoes into finger shaped pieces and frying the pieces in pig fat, you just have to have a sense of humor.

And for the record I'm English, didnt move to the US until I was 35.

I can’t argue with this pub grub. Makes me want to get a deep fat fryer.

This weekend's grumble - kitchen cabinet stores that say their prices are 50% off but turn out to be 30% higher than the competition.

Back in the UK, a flat pack or self assembly kitchen cabinet chain called MFI used to have a permanent "50% off sale", using the UK trading laws and one of their stores in deepest darkest Wales that never actually sold anything.

And Zales Jewellers in Bournemouth, England. Last time I was there in the 90s they were still having their "closing down sale", which at that point must have been running 30 years.

Yes, it is amazing how long it takes for a company to go out of business ;). I am surprised that more of them aren't selling bridges. I have bought several but have not received one title...I keep on hoping;). Oh, well...maybe I wasn't meant to own a bridge.

For me, laugh at ourselves feels a bit cruel. Laugh with ourselves feels more fun.

"Yes my brother Gog was right. How were we to know the comet would land right in the middle of our giant warehouse. It's a cataclymic sale down here. We're up to our poor necks..You're crazy we got'em. Your nap will rise again and that's my story...Good god its Magog brothers, Atlantis Carpet Reclaimers, serving Hooker, Heater, Hellmouth, and the low desert area."

Odin photobombed a video I made Sunday of a G major scale in diatonic thirds.

I find it annoying here in lockdown we need to figure out how to produce our own videos if we want to be heard. For the terminally curious, the ProSonus USB 96 worked perfectly from a DI. It was the DI cable I was missing, along with the desire to make it all go. Headphone monitor from the DAW, and a click track through the second input.
