Get off my LAWN! "Grumpy Old Farts"

Anyone heard from Sir Paul the Wise yet? US hospitals like to kick a patient out really fast. Not sure about CA. I hope he's home.

I mowed the grass two handed today, no ill effects except for lower back pain, and that is to be treated with the same type of injections in a few weeks. So I am tickled about that. Arm issues are 90% gone, neck 100% as far as pain. Mowing is the acid test. I can get back to bass now. I should really suck now, after a couple months with little practice. I hope it comes back fast.

Canada? I'll tell ya about Canada. The day after I had my gallbladder out they they moved me out into the hall because they needed the bed. When I was still out there after a couple of hours they started to bug me about when my ride was coming because they needed the chair. I hope he's home too.

I've been wanting to say :), all of us aren't grumpy, old, or farts.

But get off my lawn! Actually that means that in most cases age brings wisdom and patience. The young whipper snapper on my lawn is lacking home training, manners, self discipline, consideration of others, a work ethic, respect for others, respect for self, respect for other's property, respect for people's differences, respect for education, and the absence of smarts to know this.

Happy Father's & Grandfather's Day. :)

Just checking in and trying to catch up. Found this in my old stuff. Can't believe it followed me from Alaska, all over the West, and ended up in East Tennessee. It's lasted longer than my two marriages, combined. What's the "Grumpy Old Far Out Fart Freak Test"?....Did you have one of these??? Yes?...You're in.

My wife had a patient with a hip replacement, used to be a lot more involved than knees. They made her walk that evening, out the next day. They are really getting those procedures down... @spankdaplank are you having it done at a surgery center or a hospital?

A happy D/F day to all. I dropped an email to sir Paul, hoping all is going well with him.

I home! :D

it was in actuality a bizarre experience. This is major surgery but it was almost like day surgery. In and out in a couple of days! In all honesty the only real discomfort I have is in my inner left thigh where a stitch was. Considering that both my heart and lungs were stopped i’m feeling pretty damned good.

My nurse and a rehab guy came in to talked about going home. Half way through the session I asked when I could start having sex again. The rehab guy seriously looked at me and told me that when I could walk up and down 2 flights of stairs It would be fine. I says thank you so much - that will be wonderful cos I haven’y been able to for years! The young nurse burst out laughing but the rehab guy didn’t get it for a while. :)

I sincerely thank all of you for youR kind wishes. Y’all blew me away when I read through them!!

Now GET THE HELL OFFA MY LAWN!!! LOL

Woohoo!

Sooooo, any pain at all when you bolted down the hallway for the stairs? :D

Great to hear all is well. Soon enough, you'll feel a lot better than before you went in.

My symptoms are gradually going away. Weird shot I got. Last time it was four I think, this time one long shot, maybe 15 minutes, and he snaked it up the spinal column. He said it would hurt. I told him I watch SEAL training on TV and can ignore pain.
