Well it took me a day and half, but I got it done, putting in a garage door opener by myself.. I had to makeshift a second pair of hands at times to get things mounted.. but it is in now and working perfectly! Last night, I was one grumpy old dude.. Now, I am ear to ear!
Wouldn't it be handy if we all had a third hand available...?

Welcome back ya old fart! Now I expect there will be some chasing of the wife around the house! Ha ha ha!

I can say with certainty that my Dorothy does not look like Flo!! :)

Okay, we got the band together yesterday. Lots of hugs, a few tears and big fun. A little reminiscing, talked about the friends and fellow players that have passed. Way too many. And then we got to it. Some jamming, then "the Artist" (my 15 year old singer/songwriter daughter) arrived. The jam became a studio session as we worked on her latest tunes. All of this was a first for us together.
I realized we no longer had to over play, we all just dug into the groove. And the Artist stepped up and made her daddy proud. My son combat vet, police officer, and kickass drummer is the younger good look king guy.

Precious moments. Thank you for sharing.
