I hear that old people are mesmerized better using B&W images.
Who you calling old? ;)
When I was a youngster, a traveling hypnotist rented our small theater in Wrangell and I volunteered to be hypnotized. I played along with the show but truth be told, I never went under his spell. Years later in therapy I confessed that I had faked my hypnosis and the therapist said it was because I had trust issues. I think that was true. I was scared to be put under and controlled by the hypnotist. Some of the other young people seemed to be really hypnotized! Later as time has passed I wish I had allowed myself to be hypnotized just for the experience. I might find a hypnotist and try again just for fun.

and to a collector that is some serious    A quart of Quink! And absolutely people used that. At school, at work, at home.

Been inside the shop. They don't carry fountain pen ink now.
There's a giant-ass Skrip box at the left, too.

There is a Rickenbacker 4001 player out there — 38 years ago now, and presumably out there somewhere still — who staked his claim to the Worst. Job. Ever. Yes, it's at the rendering plant. They show him the suction hose, show him how to operate it, and he leaves at mid-morning break never to return.

A very fine Ric it is, and he is very proud it. Red, guessing a 77.

He also told me about his job surveying a swamp. More fun.
Did he ever read the job description?

Oh, I know, and bottle of Carter's off screen. Couldn't capture it all! Little slips of printed paper with "your pen is repaired" from a time you took your broken pen to the stationer. As a child it the stationer was as magic to me as the record store, and the music store, and the bookstore.

Skrip is always my first ink-of-choice. It's actually readable, unlike these eyeball-searing gel pen colours. The lingering mindset of Henry F. Potter types who believe blue ink is a frivolity still holds water for all official paperwork. What hasn't changed is the consternation of teachers reading a paper in Sheaffer Peacock Blue is the same as teachers today who must read papers in sparkly neon.

Skrip does the job for me when I sign something important. Why as adults are we still signing important things? Got me.

He is/was such an engaging storyteller it never occurred to me to ask :roflmao:

Had mucho excitement on Monday evening. Dorothy and I went out to our favourite restaurant The Keg for supper. Before the pandemic we'd head over there a couple of times a week. This was the first time this year. They remembered us and were happy to see us. We had a nice supper and came home. We'll try it again next week. :)

Tuesday I went out for Groceries and Checked my lottery tickets to find I had won a few free tickets and a $100 prize. So our trip to The Keg was free!! :hyper:

Keep safe everyone, I send my wishes for your continuing health and safety.

Woot is what the kids used to say :hyper:

Did you tell us about the results with Dorothy and CBD? Last I recall that was a pending treatment? Did I sleep through the train stop?

The Keg's in the Vancouver area (downtown or Langley) have always been my favorite (Favourite, eh)! With my mother's passing, health issues and now the virus, it's been a few years since I have enjoyed their steaks, escargot and salad bar. Looking forward to the day we can get back there :thumbsup:.

Congrats on the free trip to the Keg!

I've got a $300 gift amount at Amazon. I need to buy something I can sell on eBay or TB and not take a loss. I've looked at a lot of things but I know I'd end up keeping them! Any ideas of something small that would hold its value at brand new selling on eBay or TB? I have to pay off some of my play plastic.
