With the day settling in as it does every day about this hour, the certainty I have now that I didn't have earlier is a date for the procedure. That's set on the 25th of this month. Did EKG. Did bloodwork. Declined a friendly game of Rollerball (1975 film) - Wikipedia with the emergency room janitors and INSTEAD
bought a tie-dye tapestry and hung it behind my amps, next to a framed print of The Morrighan.

The will-o-the-wisp I chased only to return with the tapestry is a more presentable background for the videos I make for ̶[̶R̶o̶d̶n̶e̶y̶D̶a̶n̶g̶e̶r̶f̶i̶e̶l̶d̶]̶ ̶c̶a̶l̶l̶ ̶m̶e̶ ̶w̶h̶e̶n̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶h̶a̶v̶e̶ ̶n̶o̶ ̶c̶l̶a̶s̶s̶ ̶[̶/̶R̶o̶d̶n̶e̶y̶D̶a̶n̶g̶e̶r̶f̶i̶e̶l̶d̶]̶ class and Zoom conferences. Actual physical possession of the tapestry changed my mind about the feasibility of it as a full background. At least now the wall looks like a different kind of big, empty space.
@Morrighan I hope when the time comes your surgery goes well. As for the ELF, well, I'm sorry I sent one back now! I might have to give it a good checkout again. I wouldn't mind 2 x 2x8 cabs. Do I need them? Probably not. I love my GK MB200 / Eden 2 x 110EX mini stack but I like to play with new toys!

This is the same (intermittent) problem that existed earlier. I wonder what's causing it.

I caused when I replaced the original moments after my post was quoted!
The surgery will correct (I trust) a lifelong alignment issue causing me to walk heavily on the inside of my foot. Given enough time, enough distance walked, enough life, and a drollop of osteoarthritis, and not much left to do. The cartilage is gone. It's bone on bone and fusion surgery is what remains. Getting around without pain is one of these things I enjoy, and so it goes.
The Trace cabs are warmly reviewed, there's the Elf thread to follow. TL;DR version — players gig the Elf and are happy. As happy as TB players can be, that is.

YEAH! Looks very simular!
I had a sofa the had a floral fabric, after a few months I realized that it had tigers lurking in the background. It taught me to wear my glasses when shopping. After several years the fabric developed tears, probably from the cat claws. I had it recovered in some really nice denim that I bought from a place that supplied a Levis factory.
My wife's rescued cat is not my favorite. She has clawed carpets, woodwork and upholstery. But, all I can do is grin and bear it. After all, you can't fight the boss. But I am not paying for the damage!
Well, you are. Just not directly.
Did the tears have a striking resemblance to tiger claw marks?
