Lets not confuse a recorder (Beatles) with a flute (Tull). I've seen both Tull and the 'Blues live and much prefered The Moody Blues. I actually walked out of the Tull concert early due to excremental sound and poor song choices. (No Ian, I'm not here to listen to an acoustic set of your guitar players solo album...)

That’s true. I lumped sound a-likes into the same vien, including the mellotron. Beatles songs are quite popular with flute and recorder players.

John Scott played a flute on You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away.

Friend of mine tells how she found herself sort of grooving to the muzak somewhere when it dawned on her it was playing Locomotive Breath :help:
I'm a big Chicago fan. I'm shopping in Publix(grocery)and there's something 'catchy' on Muzak. It was about half way through one of Chicago's big hits.(no, I don't remember which one)Aaaack.

And who mightn't I run into at the market but a doctor I've seen. Who, being one of the observant types, asks why my leg is in a boot. :woot: I know, huh. That's not her specialty, though she did have one or both knees replaced. Good small talk and on home

to find the shawl I ordered arrived. That may be as GOF as possible (barring medical inconveniences), but it sure is warm.

It's a raw day outside today from that cold front that came through. Good day for a shawl.

I once got into a discussion with someone about washing new things. This person got a new fridge, plugged it in and started loading it. I asked if they were going to wipe it down first. They insisted that you didn’t need to clean the fridge because it was new. I disagreed.

I tend to wash everything that’s new. The only exception is a new coat or something very inconvenient to clean. A friend from Japan wipes down all their groceries before they go into the cupboards. He said that’s what people in Japan did where he lived. He said that people here think that he’s nuts. I told him that I always did the same. Some store shelves are filthy.

Am I nut’s?
