Yup. Just loaded it up in Gig Performer (or any DAW). Not bad. Especially for FREE!
I've worked with a fair number of Engineers like that - I've even hired a few. Depending on who you ask, I might even be one. Yamaha's conference room (where they discuss certain leading edge, confidential things that years later end up in their products) is a trip. I've spent a couple days there discussing some blue sky stuff - probably in the same general time frame as the guy you're talking about.
I never liked the fuzz sound(for what we play),but it has its place. I seriously doubt mine will ever get used again, but it's cool to have. The sounds on the first part of the demo are what I used. The 2 octaves is slightly restrictive but can be worked with if sometimes awkward.
I don't care what anyone says, I loved these guys and they COULD play live:

I bought a pair of negative heel shoes in September of 1973. They looked a bit odd but bell bottoms of that era covered them. To this day, they were the most comfortable shoes that I've ever owned. I had them resouled multiple times but eventually the leather upper simply wore out.

I am so glad I wasn't drinking something when I saw that. 
Awesome video. 50 years ago I set my Wurlitzer combo organ on top of my Farfisa Combo Compact and blew the whole thing through a Bandmaster amp with its 2x12 cab and a custom 15 cab. We were a mostly Doors band. Thank goodness we had a bass player, because I couldn't have done the Manzarek thing.

Those funky 70s shoes must be European because they're Earth shoes. If they were American they'd be Ground Shoes.
They were introduced in 1970 on what became Earth Day. Many forget that it's was all about marketing shoes to hippies.

I was that hippie they successfully marketed to! ... or wanted to be, which is more accurate. All about the exploitation of dreams for profit, you know, before that practice became illegal

My Ibanez SR750 came with Nordstrand pickups. They sound terrific to me.
I put Nordies in my P and P/J basses - love 'em. Especially with nickel rounds. I have a soft spot in my heart for AlNico pickups.
Not because they're European. Because they're Lucas.
