Didn't we get a organ construction lesson upthread about why a prime and a diminished minor second are two different notes?
Do they have enharmonic spelling bees in music school?

"Enharmonics" was the name of my 2020 cohort team. The other team was "The Grooveonauts".

Well, I snoozed and missed the pages of technical bass talk. I'm a techno geek, whether it be music or computers. Missed my big chance and now it's pages back! I love learning about the new technologies being implemented into amplification and bass guitars. I'm looking at you, @agedhorse , @Passinwind and @Al Kraft . 
We're getting ready to do a big computer order and most of them are laptops. I've taken an initiative to provide staff with mobility and remote access and will be sending them home with laptops, docking stations and monitors. I don't see a change to something resembling normalcy until maybe late fall of this year as far as Covid-19 and quarantine. We are ordering new Dell laptops that are cool. The webcams have doors on them that automatically open and close when needed. And to think my first computer was an Epson 8088 with 512mb RAM and a 20MB drive.

The city should be paying for home internet as well, it's going to be a work expense. What about computer bags to protect them while transporting. Damage and loss is more common at home, extra spares may be needed. Will some need printers.....

lefty, I think you mean your Epson 8088 had only 512 kb of RAM, since those old 8-bit processors couldn't address much more. Even the early 286s and 386s needed special arrangements within the first 1 mb to be able to use more than that 1 mb way back then.

I knew the guy who developed the Cybertwin amp, he was a really clever engineer. Was on the original design/consulting team that came up with what became the PM-1000 for Yamaha. Having lunch with him was an experience.
