Then, this evening, my wife got very sick and I had to call 911. The squad came and took her to the local hospital. After some meds and tests, they sent her home. I just got her tucked in for the night a couple of minutes ago.

So much for 2021 being better then 2020.

It will be a treat to listen to some of the records that Ive had since my youth including a bunch of 45s.
It may just inspire me to drag in some of the old band equipment that I have stashed in the pole barn.
I have sold the drivers from the cabinets to a speaker re-coner for pennies on the dollar.
I burned most of the big cabinets in a bonfire in the back yard some 15 years ago. Still have about 20 par 64 cans and theatrical spots. What the heck do you do with those? Who would want those watt-eaters anymore? :rollno:

About 7 years ago I gave away my 12 PAR64 cans to one of the local churches. Switched to 8 remote controlled LED PARS and I'm now a happy camper. Even if you get the bug to play along with the old 45's there's nothing wrong with buying a cool new combo. You earned it!

The Churches around my close proximity were not interested in the pars...nor in the large sound equipment. I no longer have a van to cart this stuff around either. I could spend a lot of time and money trying to give it away.
I can't feel too bad about it if it gets trashed or scrapped. It paid for itself many times over through the years.
I rented the sound system out to other bands along with my truck to move it all and then it spent a few years as a house system in a bar.

Depending on where you live, put the stuff on your front lawn on trash day; it will be gone, for sure!
