My first (and, mercifully, last) UB attempt in public was <cough cough> inspired by NRPS' version of Long Black Veil. Place the time of said apocryphal event well into last century
It a lot harder to do than it looks. Every part is often done separately, it isn't a live band performance. But it comes out looking that way. Good job.

Yep. An old buddy of mine was on the touring crew with them for their first seven years or so. I worked with them on a club date just before John passed too, but he wasn't able to gig by then unfortunately. They still sounded great, and Buddy Cage was even back with them for that tour.

I hated Yoko from the minute she stuck her face into the Beatles' business. Sure, the band was eventually doomed, but that woman came in and took over John's life like nobody's business. Sometimes I think she was more like a mother to him rather than a partner. I don't have enough ways to tell you how much I despised her.Not quite. That'd be grating metal.
What destroyed the Beatles was their business manager Allen Klein. Years later, John agreed that Paul was right, they shouldn't have gone with Allen Klein. Paul wanted Lee and John Eastman, entertainment lawyers and Linda's father and brother to step in. The others that that they were too close to Paul. In the end the other three outvoted Paul and signed with Klein. Paul never signed. Klein was also the one who brought in Phil Spector to sort out Let It Be. Again, the other Beatles wanted Spector, Paul didn't. There were a lot of dynamics going on to say the least. Musically they were fine. The business tensions tore everyone apart.
Paul went on to make a lot of money. John would ask why people prefered silly love songs over his. As a business entity, the Beatles never broke up. When the time was right, they would have got back together as a band, even John said so. But that was cut short.

Yeah, I don't reckon The Beatles are considered "Metal". But there is none heavier than "Helter Skelter", "Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except For Me and My Monkey" and "I Want You (She's So Heavy"), IMO.
