There was always a rumor that there was a chemical in the water that turned a color if you peed in the pool. Never saw any evidence of that. There were some people that occasionally had relieved looks on their faces though.
Band names had to have a deep meaning in the late 60's. I was in a band called Transit. We came up with the name while standing at a bus stop.
When I was a kid, I always wanted a monkey. They used to have ads for them at the back of comic books. That and WWII surplus jeeps.
When they were little my sisters both wanted a pet monkey. My folks couldn’t find one so they had me instead!![]()
