Here you are, Will. My eyes are dyslexic
Thank you kind Contessa. We practiced something similar-- called playing in a dark corner of a nightclub!
Good exercise!

I use "[stuff]" to mean....uh,....you know.Nope. Couldn't make it. That probably means Monday. At least I got the headphones yesterday. And, yeah, we got another 6 inches plus. Powder, so easier to clear than that heavy wet **** that came down a couple of days ago.
That was my edit above, not the autobot or a mod. Trying to keep the peace.

Thinking of you, @GonePlaid. Not Morphine (no bass guitar). But what a great name! Moon Hooch! Pretty much beyond description.
I saw the harness he was wearing. Weren't no light weight one.I've played a bass sax a coupla times. You kinda need an auxiliary air source pumped some into some convenient orifice() to be able to sustain those low notes. BTW, they run ~$25K new. Also they weigh about as much as a "fridge".
The times I played one, I was sitting and the bottom of the horn was on the floor. I was substituting for the tuba player who was gonna be outta town for an upcoming concert/TV appearance.I saw the harness he was wearing. Weren't no light weight one.
Geeze, what's the reed like on one of those? A piece of 1x4?The times I played one, I was sitting and the bottom of the horn was on the floor. I was substituting for the tuba player who was gonna be outta town for an upcoming concert/TV appearance.

This may very well be my last bass for a very long time (at least until Tax Refund Time).
Wonderful stuff! That's Higher Ground in So. Burlington. Great sound, fun stage to play! Here's hoping it survives COVID.
Same street (Main St.) but way up the hill, near the fast food (and Al's French Fries). Higher Ground may have been in Winooski when you were here - moved around 2000. There was a club downtown on that street too. ...used to be Hunts, but turned into a dance (disco?) club before it caught fire. Now it's housing/offices.That looks like a big club, is that on the street that runs down the hill toward the lake, forgot the name, it runs next to the common and across St Paul St. I think there used to be a disco or something on that street, maybe the same building?
