Ah well I know a woman who says she owns a pair of Eeyore PJ bottoms with feet. It's what she wears all day on those kind of days.
It's not a bad idea, IMO. The trick is recognizing when it's one of those kind of days.
Looks great. Personally not sure about glass in a headboard...

By the way, nice work on the headboard, very creative repurposing.

The 604 is next to my Gustave Stickley C. 1908 354 1/2 V-back arm chair. It is 20" Dia. x 26" H.
This is not a photo of my trestle table (I really need to do that, one of these days) but it is the same model. The tabletop is 30" x 48", and 29" high.
Let's see you come up with some nice ideas.
BTW, a 604 table went on auction last month!

I turned our old front door into a headboard.

It makes a better headboard than door. I don't like those "V"-word looking front doors.

Are there people who only use and own vegan wood?
So called vegan furniture is actually a current trend. Sustainable raw materials, reclaimed wood, no leather.
Only from the far north - norvegan wood.

Ink was traditionally made from plant and animal products. Hide glue was one component, common in instrument building. They also used pine sap. Probably even blood. There must have been an ink formulation that was considered the best.

I hate to break up the running topic (as I almost always seem to do) but I watched the National Lampoon documentary/movie from 2015 last night and that had an excerpt from The John Lennon parody Genius Is Pain, "Magical Misery Tour" which I hadn't heard since the bleeped version in the 70's. Thanks to YouTube the real version is available with lyrics which of course I can't post here but if anyone wants it I can send it to you in a private message.

Pens that double as a rotary phone dialers were pretty useful, same as shoulder cradles for telephone receivers. I certainly relied on one. Bury your head in the receiver and two hands are free to take notes and drink coffee.

I was in the first grade in 1959 and we had to learn how to use those things, had the ink well in the desk and everything. I was not very good, always had blobs on the paper and ripped spots. I never did dip the girl's hair in the inkwell who sat in front of me although I'm sure it entered my mind.

Lived experience suggests there is much more on a young man's mind than ink.
I recall that nib pens were a mess. You managed to get ink all over your hands. Reservoir pens would clog. If you flicked them, ink would fly onto others. Never done intentionally but it happened.
