And since they put the stents in me last year, I've had to be on an anti-clotting pill that I'm told I'll have to take at least until mid-June. I can just lightly touch any surface with the back of a hand to get one of those nice purple "old people" splotches. I hope that doesn't make me an "old people."
A couple more weeks of vaccination soak-in time and the wife and I are starting back at the gym...I really lost feeling of doing myself good when we dropped out in an effort to avoid social contact.
Sorry sir, I don't find this story funny and especially in these times, politically correct. I've heard various versions of this story and don't believe it. I am chubby and have eaten at many all you can eat Chinese buffets. They've never had the gall to tell me I've eaten too much.
I've always looked like a kid. I've got plenty of gray hair, but it's only here and there, and it only looks like my hair has gotten a couple shades lighter brown. No deep facial lines or wrinkles. I mean, I see it, but others don't, and they think I'm in my forties. Whenever I'd order from the senior menu I'd wait to be found out for the imposter I am. But it never happened. But inside, I still felt funny doing it, as though I was getting away with something. Rage, rage against the dying of the light. No waitstaff ever disputed my eligibility when ordering from the senior menu. Half the portion at 85% of the price. Yay. But it's the right amount of food for me. Maybe a little much. But not entirely happy that senior breakfast offerings always come with fruit. First it was the grapes and melon, then they came for me
applesauce and cranberry juice
Ah, there are probably Chinese people of both kinds out there. I can certainly see that it could get abused where people will stash the food in a container and take it off premises. Please accept my apologies. There was certainly no intent to offend you or anyone else.
Oh, exactly my friend, that's what I like about it.People have said, 'why don't you just go for a walk? It's is as good excercise as a treadmill."
The trouble with that is if you get a half mile into your walk and your knee starts to hurt, you have a half mile walk back rather than to just get off the treadmill and sit down for a minute.

Perilously true.People can become absolutely warped beyond recognition by poverty. Better to know these worlds exist, and they're so close that that the dividing line can be unclear.
The urination in the street thing can just be a local custom. I remember my dad telling me that while in France and caught up in traffic a man got out of his car and let it flow. Perhaps things have tightened up a bit since then.oh absolutely this happens, and I can attach names to people who do this. People can become absolutely warped beyond recognition by poverty. That's your equinox right there
Well... probably not for that guy.I remember my dad telling me that while in France and caught up in traffic a man got out of his car and let it flow. Perhaps things have tightened up a bit since then.

Yup. Those little bumps and twists, etc., from our younger days/daze come back to haunt us in the form of arthritis, strained/torn ligaments, joint replacements,...
I've got rheumatism since I was 20.
