That's a big 10-4. If I'm filling out a form for a new "quack", I check a buncha boxes and write in the notes "I have allergies. It's wheeze and sneeze every morning". Plus I'm 75-everything that works, hurts.
I remember my dad, when he was about 70, telling me that getting old wasn't for sissies. I'm less than a year and a half from that age, and he was most certainly right.
Yup. Those little bumps and twists, etc., from our younger days/daze come back to haunt us in the form of arthritis, strained/torn ligaments, joint replacements,...
I've got rheumatism since I was 20.
Got an early start, I see.
It's a little bit awkward to "like" your post, but I can somewhat relate. I deal with Psoriatic Arthritis. Good luck!

At my age, just looking at the back of my hand or arm will give me a bruise!
Oh dang, I know that can be a serious pain too. A customer of mine has this. This is basicly psoriasis on your joints right? Or am I getting my rheumatisms mixed up?
I've got Bechterew (psoriasis on the skin as a side-effect, but not severe luckily). Inflamation in the blood. So days I'm perfectly fine most days. Some days aches and they can show up anywhere.
I can't complain, with the right medication it's pretty managable.
I can do har physical labour, and can sport. Running I like.
Although my specialist discourages running to avoid stress on my knees.

Osteoarthritis proved too much for both knees, and an ankle. I'm living its progression.
Yes, for me, Psoriatic Arthritis is related to Severe Plaque Psoriasis. I started taking so-called "biologic medicines" in 2015. With some of them, the side effects can be brutal. They are also very expensive. Currently I am taking Tremfya - an injectable. Each injection costs approximately $11,500 and they come every 8 weeks. I know that sounds expensive, but it cheaper than the Remicade infusions I was getting. Those were every 6 weeks and each one cost just a little less than $24,000.
Again, it's strange to "like" your post. It's my way of hoping for the very best for you.
Does it help a lot? I hope you aren't in too much pain.
I have to inject myself with Enbrel once a week. Great stuff.
Rather expensive (not as much as yours), but we have an excellent healthcare so it's basicly free for me.
I am sincerely wishing you could have my healthcare system too.

Oh yeah we can like in solidarity. There's no solidarity "like" function so it's presumed to be understood here.
My big news is the paperwork is making its way through the system (whatever that is) for a procedure that can't be done locally. And I'm pretty happy about that. It's the entire point of medicine, as far as I'm concerned — to be able to live our lives as we intend. Being able to walk without pain is kind of important to me ...
And really I don't have any problem that we are all able to walk (metaphorically) in life without pain.

My wife is a Registered Nurse so she does the injections for me.
For the $11,500 Tremfya, my co-pay is close to $3400. I'm a Medicare person and I purchased the best Part D plan (prescriptions) available.
All this justifies the "G" in GOF.
And since they put the stents in me last year, I've had to be on an anti-clotting pill that I'm told I'll have to take at least until mid-June. I can just lightly touch any surface with the back of a hand to get one of those nice purple "old people" splotches.
