So, I Googled "Fat Freddy", and this is what came up.

How does a Les Paul Shaped Object Live to Please a Significant Other unless you are selling it?

This is mine...Unlike many Gibsons, it isn't broken in half, it just naturally photographs that way.

It's a honey burst, the pick guard was removed, gold hardware and vintage knobs were swapped in, pickups are '57 Classic PAF's. Dates from the 80's as I recall.

Nice! I have a friend in StL that had a goldtop. My favorite Les Paul. Then it was stolen.

Ran away from home when I was 4. They found me about 5 miles down the road, pulling my Radio Flyer wagon with my dog (a cocker spaniel named Laddy)

No water. No food. No money. No plan.

No problem!

I was 37 when they finally told me that story (I have no memory of it). When they found me, they asked me where I was going. They said I pointed forward down the road. When they asked my why, I pointed back to where I'd come from and said "because I'd tired of that way!"

SO proud of myself!
What was the dog's excuse?
