It's good for you and is nature's broom.
Well yes, but every day? That'll also net you nature's "boom."

Didn't realize it was 14 miles away. Being from Johnson County, that whole urban sprawl area tends to run together. I have to travel more than 14 miles to find a music store. Back in the day(GOF go to) McKinney was a long way from DFW now I can't tell when I leave one and get to the other. I drove highway 121 from Grapevine to Plano, when it was a two lane highway.
Shoot, boy....I have to drive 23 miles to get to a stoplight. In fact, it's 2 miles to pavement.

Yeah I'm not quite that remote, but there are several places, close by, that are. Once I retire, I plan to get as far away from the hustle and bustle as possible.

Oh yes, that's my dream too, somewhere quiet and out of the way. Preferably the south of France.

Always a concern when I dream about country properties. A 4WD would b a must, maybe some bear spray and a cow bell.
We have a 4x4 Ram, a Jeep Wrangler, and a Merc Mountaineer. Since I'm retired, the rule is, if I can't drive through whatever is on the road, I stay home. Bears are virtually never seen here, but we do have bobcat, coyote, and fox. They're fun to watch.

There are many volunteers in the ER to put my father's dislocated shoulder back after 30 minutes travel on unpaved and secondary roads. He insists on morphine first.
My mother, RIP, used to dislocate her shoulder every so often. She somehow learned to re-set it herself... with great agony. I usually had to leave the room.
I miss her. She passed in 1992.
