An anecdotal preventative is said to be tart cherries, even mentioned on Mayo Clinic's site, so I take a tart cherry extract capsule, obtained from Vitamins and Supplements, Natural Health Products, Organic Foods - Swanson Health Products every morning with the handful of prescription drugs. So far, so good. It may also be equally effective as an elephant repellent too, as I've seen none of those since starting to take it nearly a year ago.

Nice to know...thanks. If I start seeing elephants in NorCal, I will know what to do...

Yeah I have gone the cherry route also. Until I had a doctor who was also a gout sufferer, who asked if I ate a lot of tomato based food. Once I cut out concentrated tomato products, I had no further flare ups. I can eat fresh tomatoes in a salad or a sandwich with no issues, but I will pay, if I eat spaghetti and meatballs.

Or "Truly"
Terrifying?

Everything we thought we knew is a lie.
So, what else is new? ;)
Hear my voice, this is Odin calling you
Times have changed, I'm a Gentlegod
No more war, just design of furniture
Master of IKEA
Just like Jesus I'm a carpenter
Forging shelves with the hammer of Thor
Gloria patri furnituribus
In nomine IKEA
For the BEDDINGE and the KIVIK, sing with me Valhalleluja
For the wooden TV bench with storage space and paper foil
For the pencils and the horse-meatballs, we sing Valhalleluja
The ergonomics and the quality of our chairs
Are second to none
I see that both Odin and Thor is mentioned in that.

Changing the hard wired power and signal cables on the turntable to detachable.
I left the AC alone, but did mod my Sony PS-X50 with a nice pair of RCA jacks to use some nice cables with.

Google Translate gave me, "More mold and fries" for this?!? I assume this "mold" is cheese?
.
My bad....should've been "moules et frites"....

Boy, ever since I was a little kid, whenever old people get together, all they talk about is doctors and health problems. When they're old and grumpy, they talk about foods they hate, too.

Hence, the thread title!
Yeah I remember my grandparents talking about aches and pains, doctors, digestive issues. I thought they had just run out of things to talk about, and must have very boring lives. But then when I get up in the morning........
Now I get it!

I only had the problem because of the medicine I was briefly taking, knock wood. I'd be glad never to have it again.

Heaven forfend! Seafood nonono.
Me neither... I don't like anything that has lived in the water.

I think it's mainly psychological, I can't get over the idea of eating something that has swum around all its life.

And I really tried to eat it. I was in a nice quaint little restaurant in Spain and someone suggested to try a mackerel dish. And it tasted very good, I didn't mind the texture, it was well prepared, ... I just can't get over the fact that I am eating fish.

OK, so now I am sorry for you but, I will keep on keeping on ;)

And you're Belgian?????........:wideyed:

I know I know I know... :p

I don't like anything that lived in the water and also mussels look slimy. Nope nope nope.

Our national dish was voted friet met stoofvlees though.

I had to put the thing down I had in my hand to recover from laughter
