All the great French food, plus easy access to the Spanish food I grew to love!

I spent five years in the Navy and visited countries all over the world. The majority were Atlantic/Mediterranean countries. I LOVED the food in all of them and tried to sample as much of the "local" cuisine as I could. That's how I learned I like eel! Spain was one of my favorite countries...but I never had the anchovies there. If I ever go back, I'll give them a shot. But if I gag and spit them out... I'M BLAMING YOU!:meh::cool:

Looking great (for a FSO), StereoPlayer.

Speaking of which, I realized that my use of TSO could potentially be confused for a Telecaster Shaped Object.
JSO (jazz shaped object) :D
Extreme contouring, bull nose edges, extreme locations for pickups.
Figured walnut control cover, relocated and mortised jack plate.
5lbs 4 oz unloaded body.

So, now I have to ask, what are Monkey Eggs?

Pickled eggs in beet juice.

I would like to like this but I can't .

Ask your barkeep for one when you order your Stewart Sandwich.

What would drunks in taverns and bars do without pickled eggs.

I don't know because I am not one of them...if I was, I would probably just drink .

Oo! Sounds interesting.

They're really very good. Hard boiled eggs, turned purple most of the way through (perfect for Easter!!!), they don't taste of vinegar or brine due to the sugar added and the beet juice. They are sweetish with a mild salty kick. :woot:

I'd love 'em. And with some baked beans and a coupla beers, I could clear a large room.:smug:

I think that I know the guy in the Laurel and Hardy films Dan is talking about.
