One potential drawback is that someone actually has be able to sing. Not that some members of the Dead couldn't, but they always tended to croak in a more literal sense. There's also a whole lot less material to learn and play, which could be a bonus I guess. :cool:

Good pedal steel players are also very rare and tend to command serious dinero.

Seems to me the the sort of person who holds command of a pedal steel is a good fit for the Chapman Stick.

What I see* are structural flaws in the very model of journalism as intended, and as practiced. Start anywhere, I suppose. The Pentagon Papers should be enough to tell us what very dicey ground we are on in the States. My personal experience are the Five W's of why @GonePlaid can't get what he needs to see in El Heraldo. There's big money going on, and that's all that there really is to know. So yeah, the backlash for publishing something at odds with income is going to be a problem.

Folks are making coin selling realities and that's the news.

Autotune has a modern equivalent. Melodyne can fix a lot of sins, even warbles within a vocal note, it can add vibrato, it can harmonize. It isn't just for vocals though. It can do instruments, changing bad notes, even charging chords. All with in depth control. It's amazing what can be done today.

When songs are remastered, they often start with multi tracks, correct them, then remix and remaster. If there aren't multi tracks, they can create them by separating all the sounds. Got a legal issue with the drummer? They can be replaced.

On one of the first First Class flights I took in the early '90s (from D.C. back to Chicago), the FA served the meal. When I asked her what it was, all I got back was "mystery meat".

Whatever it was, I'd had better tasting frozen Hungry Man Salisbury steaks than that.

Switched from United to American. Never went back.

Absatively. American Airlines is my vastly preferred US carrier.
