You GOF's are in fine form this morning! I'm home playing hooky today. Said I was sick but I ain't. Just feeling lazy. No agenda, no home assignments. As soon as Carey dozes off I'm going to watch some action thriller TV. Yawn. Nice weather today in Sitka. Spring has sprung. Someone wake me up when lunch is ready.
"Spring has sprung
Fall has fell
Summer's a comin'
Hotter than

Last summer."

It's too early for you, yet. BTW, you missed lunch; it was delicious. :smug:

Cruising down the youtube sidebar, found this. Highly appropriate.

 Get off my metaphorical lawn! That's right, it ain't a patch o' grass. It's an attitude that I carry around wherever I go! And it says, "Come at me, bro! Gimme yer best shot! You ain't seen nothin' yet! I've already survived worse than you can dish out, you "millennial"!" :D:laugh::cool::woot::laugh::D

Is he/she the last old musician or the first new musician?

Here in the time of The Thing That's Really Going Around, my alma matars adapted to virtual contact. Once if there was contact, perhaps it takes the form of a four-colour magazine on glossy stock. We scan our class notes, and put the magazine on the table to view, presuming there's good cover art. There usually is.

Now engagement is personal, if one calls teleconferencing personal. For me with alma mater PhysSpace far too distant to reach easily — and in every respect of social distancing :) — teleconferences mean free continuing education :D

What got /me educateded about is listening to a recent grad who cut a record (whatever it is the kids do these days) and so on and so forth. What she spoke of in part, which is where the Pat Metheny video dovetails, is presencing yourself authentically. That's what I heard, anyways.

Off this afternoon to the horse pistol, where I've my appointment with radiology. Arrive 20 minutes early, so that's disrobe, take off all jewelry etc etc and on to the flatbed to measure bone density.

Absolutely no recollection of a personal concern about my bone density when I was 21. Not particularly concerned today. Next stop are the labs just down the hall. The phlebotomists actually know me by now :meh:

The cover art on this nobby magazine in my plain sight shows the school bell, cast in 1890.

More like, he barely began college, let alone, barely make it through high school!
Another unlikely outcome...
Just saw a 'The Big Interview' show with Dan Rather and Weird Al Yankovic. Al was a straight-A student and graduated as Valedictorian at the age of 16. From there he went to the California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo, where he got a degree in Architecture.
The rest is history.

My This-Reality (whatever) task today is a clean run of tuplets of tritones on a descending whole tone scale. I "film" Friday and today's my day to put the whole groove together. I have no clue what I'm doing :bag:
I have no clue what that even means, and please make no attempt to relieve my blissfully ignorant mediocrity.

"...tuplets of tritones...", not triplets of tritones. Does it mean pairs of triplets working down the scale then? Or two tones selected out of each triplet, working down the scale? Inquiring minds and all that*.

*: I prolly wouldn't have framed the question even, without this here thread. So look at that!, you have already taught me something this morning!

ETA: guess I'm in the minority here so far, actually seeking clarity. The nerve!:roflmao:
