Happy Friday, GOF's. As Beans would say (or was it Soul) I'm practicing retirement. Staying home today. No plans. Try to talk Carey into cooking breakfast... ha ha...... so what's everybody up to this weekend? Anything exciting happening in your neck of the woods?
First mowing of this season. Currently 57 degrees. Waiting on UPS for my custom J body to be delivered today.

Boy, I just used that phrase this morning on someone knocking at my text. "I'm still in bed" (10:30am)
Probably here is where I heard it first.
No gigs at all this weekend. Nada. Nada damn thing. I think maybe I'll..., or..., or maybe...Nah, I'll just watch sports on TV. And drink beer.
Practice, practice, practice this weekend. This old dinosaur has a jam with a drummer next week. First time in 50 years...wish me luck

There are enough nuts on the road already...
It’s going to be a very exciting weekend. I bought a lottery ticket and hope to win. If I don’t, I promised myself that, as a consolation I would go to KFC for a chicken sandwich. Either way, win-win. Woo-hoo!

I'm using my time wisely and effectively watching an action movie made in India called "Wild Dog." 
In a conversation one of the characters said, "The press is going to have a field day." I know what it means but @Morrighan do you have any idea where that expression came from? I have no idea.
Yes, the movie is worse than the poster, but at this point I'm committed....

The bass is back and repaired at no cost. About to plug in and record. &c. What I found at the B&M as I wandered 'round is a used Rumble 100 for 150 spacebucks.
In Michigan, it was 45 degrees earlier this week. It is suppose to be 80 degrees on this coming Tuesday. If you don't like the weather here in Michigan, wait fifteen minutes.....
Plus we had snow flurries yesterday.
Rode the scooter for about a half hour. Was going to ride a little longer but the sky was looking weird.
Rain is getting close according to the radar and can hear thunder. The Weather Channel has us in DARK red for today. WooHoo! We never get dark red on there. Anyways, just hope we don't get any spinning storms or hail the size of canned hams.
Time to head to the office with a beverage!

Just went through West side of Ft Worth, about 30 minutes ago, headed your way. Two cells joined over DFW creating a larger cell. We had small pea sized hail, but no wind to speak of. As you know YMMV.
