Just went through West side of Ft Worth, about 30 minutes ago, headed your way. Two cells joined over DFW creating a larger cell. We had small pea sized hail, but no wind to speak of. As you know YMMV.
Being Texas, that would mean there's no tornadoes in the immediate vicinity, right?Just went through West side of Ft Worth, about 30 minutes ago, headed your way. Two cells joined over DFW creating a larger cell. We had small pea sized hail, but no wind to speak of. As you know YMMV.

I've gotten to where I sit with my laptop as I'm looking for movies to watch on Netflix or Prime. I wanna see the reviews first, because I'm a sucker for poster pics and I'll find myself mired in something nearly unwatchable before I rouse myself enough to hit the silk on it. If the review is decent, though, I'll go with it. Life's too short (especially now) to spend time on dreck.I'm using my time wisely and effectively watching an action movie made in India called "Wild Dog."
In a conversation one of the characters said, "The press is going to have a field day." I know what it means but @Morrighan do you have any idea where that expression came from? I have no idea.
Yes, the movie is worse than the poster, but at this point I'm committed....
I'll let you know how it turns out..

Maybe if it's still there when you pick up your Ray you could dicker a bit and praps get it for a lil less. What I found at the B&M as I wandered 'round is a used Rumble 100 for 150 spacebucks.
Cheers! Supposed to have T-storms today and night so that cancels outdoor stuff today like trimming shrubberies. Oh, darn it...
Probably have to sit in the office (garage) with a beverage and watch the storm.

We are under a tornado watch until 9:00 tonight here in SW La. So far, it is cloudy and breezy. Not necessarily. There could be wind at altitude and little or none at the surface. We haven't had any tornado watches or warnings here but a couple of hours south then into the Houston area and west LA they have watches posted.
I would only consider a V3, myself, which is what I automatically though @Morrighan meant, though she didn't specify. I know Guitar Center gives you 45 days to return a used one, but dunno what the local place's policy is, of course. But a return policy like that is more than enough to put a piece of used gear through its paces and decide whether or not to keep it.You have to be careful with amps such as the Rumble. The current revision is V3, more desirable than V1 or V2. The V3 Rumble 100 price is $299 at Sweetwater. I’d want a full Fender warranty. Is saving $150 for a used amp warranty, if any, worth it? I say no.
The only thing that adds to a good thunderstorm are swarms of fireflies. Yes, I am easily entertained...![]()
For us Navy types, FD meant sweep and swab our space(sleeping compartment, band room, whatever)."The origin of the term 'field day' comes from the military and refers to maneuvers that took place in a field, but by the 1800s, the phrase was used to refer to any event that happened in a field, ranging from a hunt to a dance to a picnic to a scientific expedition."

The window shopper/prospective buyer is a grown former newspaperwoman who might have been born at night but wasn't born last night. I trust she'd think of more than a question or two to ask about its provenance before letting it follow her home. IF she wants it, and IF it's still there.Deciding if you like it is one thing. The standard Fender amp warranty is 2 years. These amps can develop issue at any time, even if used conservatively at home. If something goes wrong with a used amp, if you can’t repair it yourself, chances are it would have to be written off.
Also, what is the story behind this amp. Was it simply traded in, is the speaker original and in good shape? Or was it blown and repaired by the store. Many unanswered questions.
By the weight I'd say the Rumble is a v3.
I've absolutely zero need of another amp. Shop is waiting on parts from EBMM for the Ray. Yes this is a place to make deals. I've absolutely zero need of another amp. I need to put the amps I have now to work.
Oh come on. You can buy at least another six amps.
I'm paraphrasing a high school bud I had a few drinking and driving sessions with.
Tommy, it's almost 1 in the morning. I need to go home.
Aw come on. You can drink at least another six pack.

Right, iirc you have some verrrry good amps at home. So this one is unneeded. But would that stop me? Ha!By the weight I'd say the Rumble is a v3.
