Well done! Any surprises or things that you would change?
Nope. It’s exactly what I was looking for. I had to tweak a few things, but I fully expected that. @/\/\3phist0 did me right and built just what I wanted.
And he recommended the Freestone neck of which I’m very happy with. It plays better and truer than my Fender necks.
And the finish is gorgeous!
Very happy.

We ground-pounders got to GI the latrines with tiny little brushes to get up under the rims of things.
Ah, memories. On the 1st day of my 1st week of basic training, I was appointed as "Head Latrine Cleaning Specialist." The title, I was told, was made up especially for me because I was so special. Hold on.

I wasn't only on-call for any particularly challenging cleanup. No, I was on the A-list for all latrine-associated cleanups. But I earned it. I really did. See, getting off the bus, I noticed a short man screaming in some kid's face. Wisely, I burst out laughing. I then pointed at the source of my mirth: our soon-to-be Sergeant Major.

What was funny? Well...I was nervous, he was screeching rude things, and he was thin and short. He didn't even waste his breath screaming at me. He whispered something to his underling, my soon-to-be Drill Sergeant, and behold, I was starting basic with a distinctly stinky reputation which took weeks to undo.

See, anointing a silly 18-year-old boy like me with such a fearsome title was a bit over the top, but did it teach me a bunch of lessons really quickly? Indeed! This catalyzed my lifelong career in the behavioral sciences :)

If they want yer opinion, they'll give it to you.

No, I just did a quick stringing. Lot of tweaks/adjustments to come.
Here's to hoping it plays nearly as good as it looks. I understand that the brantley's are super tasty.
Thanks for asking me to make this.
Pleased that even with 2 dense woods it still finished under 10 lbs
